ESSENTRICS®

Essentrics is a full body workout that rapidly changes the shape of your body through a dynamic combination of strengthening and stretching. The technique develops lean, strong and flexible muscles with immediate changes to your posture. Perfect for men and women of all fitness levels, this program rebalances the body, prevents and treats injuries and unlocks tight joints. With a diverse music playlist accompanying each routine, this equipment-free workout leaves you feeling energized, youthful and healthy.

Structure of an ESSENTRICS® Class (45 min. / 60 min.):

  • Essentrics floor work and/or barre work for body toning and flexibility

ESSENTRICS® BARRE

Everything you ever wanted from a barre workout—with two barre heights to choose from in order to get a deep stretch at the level that is right for you.

For the past 15 years, Essentrics has integrated the barre into its regular workouts. Keeping up with the fundamental principles of the program: elongating the muscles and challenging them in the lengthened position, strengthening while lengthening, zero impact without the use of weights—the Essentrics Barre workouts will tone and shape your body, create long lean muscles and increase your flexibility.

ESSENTRICS® RELEASE, REBALANCE, & RESTORE

This slow-paced and gentle, age reversing workout will help to release tight muscles, rebalance joints and restore the entire body. Regain your flexibility and mobility while slowly building strength and reawakening the power of your 650 muscles. Designed for men and women of all ages who are new to the technique, less mobile, have atrophy-related stiffness, frozen shoulder, chronic aches and pains, or who are beginning to exercise after a long sedentary period. Note: This class has a slower pace than our general Essentrics classes.

Structure of an ESSENTRICS® Release, Rebalance & Restore (60 min):

  • Slow tempo warm-up with standing and/or floor and/or barre exercises, depending on needs of students and teacher’s preference
